The Nottingham Hospital for Women
29 - 31 Castle Gate This fine building was opened as a
hospital for women in 1875 and was later merged with the Samaritan
Hospital on Raleigh Street to form Whilst it is a Victorian building it has a very strong Georgian influence in it's style and design. As it has a double address it seems likely that it replaced two previous houses on the plot.
