This old house / workshop, the old premises of Roger Smeeton Memorial Masons, marked the start of Alfreton Road but it was destroyed by fire in January 2017 just a few months after a similar blaze destroyed the shop to its left. These two mysterious fires have now created a new view from Canning Circus - See next shot.
