The Albert Ball VC Memorial Homes Church Street, Lenton These beautiful homes were built by Mr. Albert Ball Senior and his wife as a lasting memorial to the son they had lost, killed in action. They housed the widows and mothers of Lenton servicemen killed in the war. They were designed by a Col. A. W. Brewill and opened on September 7th 1922. Note the model of Ball's biplane on top of the weather vane.
