- Barclays Bank - now 'The Bank' Beastmarket Hill
Whilst it appears to be much older, from the limited information I have been able to find, it appears that this building was designed by W. A. S. Lloyd and built in 1959 for Barclays Bank. It must have been one of the last buildings that made a real attempt to blend in with others around the square. Sadly it is now 'The Bank' public house / restaurant with offices above.
