Nottingham Buildings

This is another excellent Nottingham pub, and another contender for the oldest original pub in the city title. 
The pub is actually two timber framed buildings that have been masked by the more modern frontage.

The Bell shows a date of Establishment in 1437 and unlike others who claim the oldest pub title, I believe that the timber used in the frame has been scientifically dated to approximately the date claimed.
