The Nottingham Council House London has 'Big Ben' but the bell 'Little John' sounds the hours from The Council House clock. The sculpture on this corner is 'Civic Law' by Charles Doman who was an ex-pupil of Joseph Else at the Nottingham School of Art, Else being the man personally responsible for most of the sculpture on the Council House, including the pediment over the frontage.
