This is a magnificent room with beautiful paneling enhanced by delicate wood carvings around the door frames and fireplace. The paneling was recovered from Aston Hall in Derbyshire when it was demolished but before then it originally adorned a room in the old Nottingham Exchange that stood on the same spot as today's Council House. |
