- The Central Dome The murals around the dome were painted in 1928 by Nottingham artist Noel Denholm Davies In June 2018 a full restoration was finished by Alex Carrington of G. F. Tomlinson. I need to re-visit and take some shots of them now that they are all nice and bright.
