Nottingham Buildings

This bronze relief can be found above the entrance to what was The Exchange Hotel. Unfortunately my picture of the actual hotel building did not turn out well and a return visit is required to re-take it.

The bronze depicts the old Exchange building that once stood on the spot now occupied by The Council House.  It was built in 1726 and demolished in 1926.

Above the front door, the sign reads 'SHAMBLES'
