This is obviously not the Guildhall. I have included it here because of its close association.

 

In the 1960's this fine house was the official residence of visiting circuit judges  presiding at Quarter Sessions in the Old Guildhall.

Originally there was a 24 hour manned police box to the left at the rear of the squash club.  This has gone, but the flagpole from which The Union Flag was flown remains as a reminder of its past function.
