Nottingham Magistrates Courts Carrington Street (Canal Side)
This vast complex was built to replace the old Guildhall Courts on Burton Street and its size is a graphic and sad reflection of the huge increase in crime in the city over the past 40 years. This is one of the more pleasing of the modern city buildings but it still lacks the quality and detail of those of earlier periods.
