The New Victoria Baths & Leisure Centre Gedling Street I was pleased to find that the tower and the most interesting external parts of the old building have been retained and that all the brick and stone work has now been cleaned to reveal the beautiful original colours. As with other city red brick buildings that have undergone the cleaning process, it really does reveal their true beauty and gives a glimpse of what Victorian Nottingham would have looked like when the buildings were all new and in their prime, and not covered with 100 years of grime.
