This is one of three designs of bronze relief that are repeated the full length of the building under the first floor windows. They were sculpted by Nottingham born artist Charles Doman They show a delightful 'army' of cherubs engaged in the manufacture of bicycles. They were modelled on the architect Cecil Howitt's son Ian.
