The Brian Clough Memorial Statue King Street / Queen Street Junction Brian
Clough
was
a
highly
successful
player
during
the
earlier
part
of
his
career,
but
will
be
best
remembered
for
his
outstanding
achievements
in
football
management.
He
won
the
European
Cup
with
Forest
in
1979
and
1980
and
four
League
Cups
in
1978-79,
1989-90.
He
also
won
the
League
Championship
with
Derby
County
in
1972.
Because
of
his
famed
association
with
both
city
clubs,
the
A52
road
between
Nottingham
&
Derby
has
been
