The East Entrance can just be seen where the pathway approaches it. The land level along this side was raised when T. C. Hine renovated and re-modeled the building as a museum. Originally the land was much lower and a double external ornamental staircase stood in front of this entrance. 

 I think this is why the present building doesn't look quite right on this side.
