Bronze on rear of Queen Victoria Memorial

This is a really beautiful bronze relief depicting a mother cradling her two babies one holding a steam ship the other a steam locomotive.  This I think signifies Victoria nurturing  the growth of Great Britain's maritime and industrial capabilities to become The Global Power of the time with an Empire larger than any seen before or since.

As with the main statue of Queen Victoria, this bronze was also the work of Mr. Albert Toft, and was exhibited at The Royal Academy
