Maid Marian Way Viewed from top level NCP This is the most disliked road in Nottingham. Built in the 1960's. It sliced through Castle Gate (As seen here), Friar Lane, St. James's Street and others, destroying many buildings of character and historical interest. St. Nicholas's Church (see centre), also lost most of it's grave yard.
