Nottingham Streets

At the time this was taken Queens Road was a most uninteresting street apart from the old  Hickling & Penticost Dye Works at the London Road end just visible under the Eastcroft chimney.

In the foreground are the remains of what were two of Nottingham's most interesting streets (before the planners attacked them). Arkwright Street goes off to the right and Carrington Street to the left with the corner of The Midland Station just visible.
