The river tow-path seen here on the right of the landscaped area to the east of Trent Bridge used to end at the point it disappears from view in this shot. There was no access to Meadow Lane Lock. The new project extended the path and now enables access to the lock and then onto the canal tow-path into the city centre and beyond. |
