The Embankment Gents Public Toilets Manufacturers Logo The Embankment Entrance (Trent Bridge End) This is the logo on one of the marble stalls. George Jennings (1818 to 1882) of Palace Warf, Lambeth was a famous sanitary engineer who is credited with inventing the first public toilets.
